Having recently completed a 1.5 million dollar renovation to the common areas of the property, The Lodge at Tamarron offers charming condominiums on a large resort property approximately 15 miles from downtown Durango, CO. This expansive property offers a myriad of indoor and outdoor recreational opportunities. If your visit falls during ski season, the Durango Mountain Resort is 8 miles away and Silverton Mountain Ski Area is 30 miles away. During warmer months, golf enthusiasts can play Dalton Ranch Golf Club, six miles south of Tamarron. Whatever the time of year, enjoy an indoor/outdoor pool with cliff views, two whirlpools, a sauna, full service health club, and a variety of massage and spa treatments. Hamilton Chop House serves dinner alongside breathtaking views of the surrounding cliffs and mountains. The dining atmosphere is casually elegant, and reservations are recommended. The Cliffside Deli is your solution for snacks, sandwiches, and, of course, your favorite caffeine-packed beverages. Condo units are arranged in clusters in different areas of the resort. Condominiums are available for four to eight guests. Many have lofts and sleeper sofas, and most guest units have kitchenettes or fully equipped kitchens. Each group of condos has its own Guest Services Center. Room decor and bedding varies depending on the room. Each room offers internet access, a sitting area, desk, linens/towels, telephone, and television. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel. The property is located approximately 18 miles north of Durango on Highway 550. Turn right into the property just after mile marker 39. Bear left at the fork in the road towards the Main Lodge and make the second right turn. 24 hour check-in is located at the north entrance. Enter through the wooden double doors under the porticos.The Hamilton Chop house is closed for the season and will re-open on May 11th.
