It offers 20 luxuriously furnished double rooms with spacious balconies facing south, Satellite TV, telephone with direct dialing and mini-bar. There is also a main restaurant with capacity for 50 people and a bar with fireplace. The hotel also offers a sport centre with fitness, sauna, Jacuzzi, massage, open-air swimming pool and a medical consulting room. There is also a conference hall seating 50 guests, a games room, a personal safety deposit box for valuables, guarded parking area, hair salon and ski depot. Location
Borovetz is the first and most famous international mountain resort in Bulgaria, just 70km from Sofia. It is situated at the foot of Musala peak in Rila mountain, with an altitude of 1,345m.
Ski Facts
Borovetz is located at 1350 above sea level (with the highest runs at 2600m), on the Northern slopes of Rila mountain. The resort has facilities for skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, ski jumps and biathlon, ski-doo, etc, and has twice hosted World Cup competitions in Alpine skiing. Its biathlon track is one of the best in Europe. Usually the slopes of Borovetz have permanent snow cover from December to April.
There are ski runs available for beginners, intermediates and advanced skiers, designed with international markings and multilingual signs. Runs are groomed to the highest standards. The ski runs of Borovetz are located in three different areas. Cross-country and biathlon tracks are located 2km away from the resort together with the cross-country tuition tracks. The runs for the ski jumps are 75m and 50m long and are serviced by a chair lift. New snow cannons for artificial snow are also provided in Borovetz. The ski patrol provides 24 hour emergency service.

Snow cannons: 2 km of ski runs covered by six snow cannons.

Snow boarding Try the Rotata half-pipe. With a vertical drop of 320 meters, the run was designed to satisfy both advanced riders in its upper end and beginners in its lower end. To make your snowboarding even more enjoyable the Rotata is equipped with its own drag lift.

Apres Ski:The night life is excellent at this resort. Borovets is full of bars, cafes, night clubs, discos. Most of them work till the early morning, and offer good prices and special happy hour discounts. Music played is mostly international dance music. Very often special shows are presented at the clubs. There are restaurants and taverns with Bulgarian national folk music and horo dancing, which most people find very entertaining.
